Refund Policy

If your purchase does not match the description and is not of acceptable quality, then you may have rights to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, and we will be happy to offer you a refund or exchange within 28 days of the date of purchase. You will NEED to provide your receipt or other adequate proof of purchase.

Change of Mind

We regret that we cannot provide a refund(s) if you Simply change your mind.

Exchanges, Returns and Credit Notes

All Exchanges or swaps or credit notes(Store Credit) must be of the same amount as that of the purchase amount or more. We do not provide uneven exchange refunds (lesser value than the original purchase)

Exchange, Credit Notes and Refunds are not available for the following categories (Unless faulty):

  • Undergarments / Hosiery / Clothing
  • Beauty Products / Cosmetics
  • Swimwear
  • Balloon inflation (Cancellation or changes Up to 3 hours after placing the order)
  • Footwear


Online Purchases
For online refunds and exchanges, we only cover unopened and unused items and must satisfy all the above requirements for change of mind and exchange / returns.

Customers must cover the cost of return shipping and any subsequent packing material. Should you require Dollars and Sense to take care of the return shipping, you will be contacted by email from us outlining the day of collection, and the cost of return shipping. This return and original shipping fee will then be deducted from your purchase refund should you wish to proceed.

Goods must be returned in their original condition, inside the original packaging, with internal and external tags still attached. Proof of Purchase must be supplied when returning goods. All refunds will then be processed to the original payment account once Dollars and Sense have received all goods.

Returns of goods can also be completed at your local Dollars and Sense store for online purchases, however, refunds will only be done via online method only and not via card or cash in-store. To do this, you must first contact us at online@dollarsense.com.au and advise your closest store so we can make arrangements and then advise you to return to the store. Once this is done, we will action the refund online within 1-2 business days

 

Credit Notes

All Credit notes must be utilised within THREE months of the date of issue. Customers must produce a valid store credit receipt while making a purchase.

Mode of Payment for refunds

All refunds will be processed in the same mode of payment that was used to purchase the item or with a Credit note. All refunds and exchanges can be processed at any Store location.

 

Price Match

If there is an incorrectly priced item in the store, we are not obliged to honour this price. The price the item scans at the register is the sale price.

If a customer has purchased such items, we will give them a full refund but will not sell the item at that incorrect price.

This may occur due to Managers missing price updates, human errors or customers moving items or changing the ticketed price.

ONLINE PURCHASES

If you receive your order and you wish to cancel your order for any reason, you have received your products to make contact with us via email on online@dollarsense.com.au
